Last night we received Greg’s absentee ballot from Australia … so Elsie and I dressed in red, white and blue to hand deliver it to the county clerk. Here’s hoping a little Elsie luck will send Colorado blue!
this election is a lot of firsts for the Sladden household:
- First time for Mark to vote!!
- First presidential election for Elsie
- First time we donated to a campaign
- First time we volunteered for a campaign … I helped out at the DNC and this past Sunday Jessica and I campaigned for Obama to get out the vote!
the day is finally here! Vote, Vote, Vote!!

Michael was right – Elsie looks so “together” and may I add “edible”.

Tell Elsie that I voted in the New Zealand elections on Thursday – the Central Wellington seat. Their polling day is November the 8th.
Elsie is a much prettier polling station attendant than they had a New Zealand House.
My! the red head seems to be getting redder!
I thought her designer Halloween outfit was to die for – well done Mum!
love Grandpa (the one with the funny accent!)
